The Mayor’s Open Government Advisory Group (OGAG) is looking for someone who is passionate about making our government more open and transparent to join a great team of District government staff and members of the public who are working to make all District Government agencies more open, transparent, participatory and collaborative. The OGAG is looking for a member of the public to fill a vacant seat.
The Mayor’s Open Government Advisory Group’s meetings from 4PM - 5:30PM every six weeks, and is required to:
- Evaluate the District’s progress on improving public access to government records, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Make specific recommendations on how the public can be more engaged with agency decision-making and encourage greater collaboration between DC government and its residents.
OGAG members are expected to attend all meetings and cannot miss more than three meetings in a row, and members are expected to participate in work sessions between meetings.
